The Flock Story: Too Much Time On Our Hands
We're not just bored. We're bored, unskilled and kind of dumb. Based on that fact alone, its almost destiny that we ventured into the world of moderately competitive broomball (the equivalent of beer-league wiffleball in the ice-bound sports world). But it was more than just destiny that turned this incredibly less than average team into the sports entertainment powerhouse that the world knows today.

It was the inspired genius of founder Jon Passman that brought this collection of talentless rabble together. It is the endless support of our fans who sadly have nothing better to do than to watch men sweat on ice. It is the tireless effort of the players that has turned such motivation and drive into so few wins. It is the complete lack of a life that has led to cool websites, trips to faraway lands and numerous hot tubs spreading the gospel of Flock. But more than anything it is the fact that we're in on the joke that makes us one of the most fun, enjoyable, and entertaining collections people ever to be associated with Broomball. Sure, we may not be winning a title anytime soon (other than "Most Likely to Laugh at Flatulence Jokes"), but damn if we don't have more fun than anyone else doing it.
